The Contracts Associate is responsible for drafting, negotiation, review and management of contracts for the business units within the Teledyne DALSA Consolidated Business Unit.  In this role, you will work closely with all functions as required, including Sales and Marketing, Operations/Engineering, Procurement, and Trade Compliance to provide support for the drafting, negotiation, review and implementation of contracts with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.  You will also be responsible for managing agreements with the third party sales channels (distributors, sales representatives, etc.) that are engaged by the business units. In this role, you will provide effective contract management, with the objectives of ensuring compliance with contractual undertakings and applicable laws and regulations, as well as the requirements of Teledyne DALSA’s parent corporation, Teledyne Technologies Incorporated. - Draft, negotiate and review contracts for the sale/supply of various Teledyne DALSA CBU products and services. - Support execution and management of all third party sales channel agreements (distributors, sales representatives, finders, etc.) and consultant agreements in accordance with Teledyne requirements. This includes completion of the required due diligence, preparation of agreements, and obtaining the requisite approvals (i.e. entry into Conga), as well as preparing amendments as required, and ensuring timely renewals. - Prepare Non-Disclosure Agreements (“NDAs”) using Teledyne-approved templates, review third party NDAs, and ensure that all NDAs are approved as required and properly executed. - Prepare other template agreements (Bailment Agreements, Product Loan Agreements, etc.), as required, and ensure that all agreements are properly approved and executed, and that all contractual obligations are closed. - Support the management of direct customer contracts and the order review and acceptance process, including maintaining contracts records for Sales Operations, and responding to inquiries as required. - Assist with the review of RFPs/RFTs and other Solicitations and the preparation of proposals and tenders as required, including obtaining the requisite approvals. - Maintain contract templates and forms (Contract Approval Forms, etc.) as required, and assist with the publication and distribution to ensure accurate and consistent usage. - Provide support for the contract approval process to ensure that all required approvals are obtained, and that that all contracts are approved and executed in accordance with the Teledyne Signature and Approval Authorization Matrix (SAAM). - Manage various contracts compliance functions, including completing Denied Party Screening (for Trade Compliance), and maintaining company registrations (with the U.S. SAM, etc.). - Act as the Local Records Coordinator for all Contract files, including contracts record-keeping, tracking and archiving as required. - Manage the Contracts Help Desk, and respond to client inquiries on a timely basis. - Provide support for internal audits, and respond to inquiries from the Teledyne Corporate office as required. - Assist with special projects and preparation of reports as required. - Provide back-up for the other members of the Contracts Team as required. - Other contract duties as assigned.

The main focus of the role will be to deliver Engineering Support to Operations and continuous improvement opportunities directly impacting the profitability of RF Power.   The Production Quality Engineer will drive a proactive approach to right first time quality to promote growth, will enhance the reputation of the business through exceptional quality standards and contribute towards a significant reduction in overall manufacturing costs. Main Accountabilities: - Work with manufacturing and supply teams on all issues and problems of a technical nature, driving these to full root cause with sustainable corrective actions in place. - Develop short to mid-range improvement plans for both product and process, working with the relevant stakeholders. - Review, update, write and maintain clear and concise work instructions (SOP’s) for use by the Operations area. - Assist manufacturing in creating balanced lines with the flexibility to change dependant on the production requirements. - Write and review process FMEA & control plans and complete Risk Assessments, close the loop on identified actions. - Involvement in the analysis of new and existing designs to ensure DFM & DFA criteria is met. - Plan and control the execution of manufacturing change from concept to production acceptance for process improvements and trials through permits, concessions, SWI’s etc. - Work closely with the New Dawn Operational Excellence program. - Identification and preparation of CAPEX justifications when required, with full detailing of specifications and ROI for each application; followed after installation with cost benefit realisation. - Creation of assembly jigging design intent and implementation in to production. - Investigate, document and report faults with customer owned products. Implementing improvements to solve documented faults. - Maintaining of control documents and all product manufacturing standard times. - Support Sales with the preparation of data for customer and project bids. - Control the introduction of new parts and tools into the manufacturing environment. - Challenge conventions in order to ensure continuous improvements, especially with regard to manufacturing cost and ease of manufacture. - At all points during production process give manufacturing technical input.

Overview   This role provides a mechanical design and technical draughting service to the product groups, working concurrently with engineers, to design new products and enhance existing products and manufacturing equipment, to relevant company standards. This includes carrying out work as defined on change requests and creation of technical documentation for product data packages. Project work package management will be included as part of this role. They will form part of a mechanical design team that is situated within the RF Power Division. As well as leading work packages, this role will also be expected to support lead designers/Engineers in the design, development and delivery of components and systems within the RF Power division and other divisions if required.   Ownership and accountability - Work closely with Product Group and other Engineering Personnel to design new and enhance existing products, and manufacturing equipment by applying Mechanical Design knowledge and skills. - Generate and maintain Product Data Package documentation that accurately and efficiently embodies product design intent utilising 2D CAD and 3D solid modelling tools and other appropriate software. - Produce designs that meet customer technical, quality and safety requirements and are capable of cost effective manufacture. - Delivery of work packages within budget and to agreed timescales. - Work with outside suppliers to design products/equipment, which meet the design specification and are capable of cost effective manufacture. - Provide mentoring on Mechanical Design issues such as Solving Mechanical Design Problems, Interpretation of Engineering Drawings, Material selection, Stress and Thermal considerations, Design Concepts, Rapid Prototyping etc. - Researching background information from a variety of sources in support of mechanical design decisions - Timely action of engineering change requests in accordance with company procedures, and progress them through the design office to completion. - Ensure that work packages assigned to you are completed on time and within budget. - Keeping abreast of the latest developments in the field of Mechanical Design and MCAD and applying knowledge to develop new processes that will deliver process improvement. - Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental (OHSE) The role holder is also responsible for OHSE and must:- - Champion our Health and Safety standards, procedures and company rules; - Intervene, correct (where able to) and report all unsafe or non-compliant situations by taking action (e.g. hazard spots) and reporting near misses; - Demonstrate a duty of care towards those you come in contact with and work with and proactively escalate potential Health and Safety issues as and where appropriate; - Support and promote the e2v Safety, Health and Environment Leadership Team (SHELT) programme to strengthen our Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental (OHSE) culture for proactive and continuous improvement of our OHSE programs which provide for a productive and safe working environment.

PURPOSE OF ROLE: Inspection of components using standard measuring equipment and three co-ordinate measuring machines, in line with drawings and specifications.  Work closely with suppliers to catch potential problems at early stage of manufacture - Inspection of incoming sub-contracted components to mechanical drawings using both electronic measuring machines, and handheld measuring equipment. - To produce, prove out and run new programmes for the CNC Computerised Measuring Machine. - To ensure maintenance records and documentation is accurate. - To ensure discrepancies are reported correctly. - To liase with key suppliers QA departments to assist in resolving issues - Use MRP system. - Assist materials team with resolving quality issues either in-house, or at the supplier’s premises as required. - Update operations with material updates - Source inspection at suppliers as required
