    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    You will work for and report to the Senior HR Director Europe to ensure that HR service delivery meets the needs of the local organisations in the Netherlands, in Germany and in Belgium whilst still operating within the broader corporate HR environment.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Build close relationships with key stakeholders to develop a strong understanding of their goals and challenges, providing advice & guidance on all people related topics in line with HR best practice.
    • Working with an HR Administrative to meet HR objectives which supports the business.
    • Being the local point of contact for social partners such as works council and other key external stakeholders ensuring proactive management of collective Employee Relations.
    • Ensuring all HR policies and procedures are compliant with local legal requirements.
    • Producing accurate and regular HR metrics/ dashboards to inform effective business decisions.
    • Manage the recruitment and on-boarding process to deliver cost-effective and timely recruitment of new employees in line with resource planning activities.
    • Coordinating people development activities by identifying/collating needs and acting as a local point of contact for the Learning and Development plan delivery.
    • Coordinating compensation and benefits activities locally in support of the business reward strategy (e.g. Annual Salary Review, pension liaison, Option/stock administration).
    • Staff absence management; gives overviews of amount of sickness reports to the MT and is the contact person for the Safety Health and Welfare Service.
    • Takes care of the correct communication about HR-issues, this includes communication with other HR employees of other BU’s & takes care (together with controller) of communication to external authorities (Tax and Customs Administration, IAK, Pension fund).
    • Participates in HR-projects (e.g. employee satisfaction together with other BU’s and Corporate Teledyne DALSA).


    To succeed in this role you must be able to demonstrate you are an HR Professional with:

    • A broad HR generalist experience (5+);
    • a previous exposure to international HR operations;
    • a good knowledge of Dutch employment law;
    • strong IT skills and analytics;
    • a hands-on pragmatic approach to work and strong administrative skills;
    • bilingual – Dutch & English;
    • able to influence at all organisational levels and across cultures;
    • agile, people focused and have strong ethics. Job Specific Requirements.
