    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    We have an opportunity for you to join our Finance team as a Treasury Assistant. In this key role, you will work with Treasury colleagues helping to deliver projects and on daily transactional work, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.

     

    In this role you will be involved with the following:

    • Setting up payments/transfers and ensuring recorded accurately;
    • Reconciling bank accounts and posting missing items;
    • Updating the monthly cash balance forecast for expected payments;
    • Identifying and communicating currency requirements;
    • Reviewing/settling inter-company loans and accounts receivable/payable balances;
    • Supporting ongoing compliance with Sarbannes Oxley regulations;
    • Monitoring of treasury/cashiering inbox;
    • Placing FX contracts;
    • Recording FX contracts;
    • Ensuring FX contracts are settled in accordance with agreed timescales;
    • Providing analysis of sales by currency;
    • Co-ordinating wider finance team's input into rolling cash flow forecast by currency;
    • Calculation of inter-company loan interest;
    • Supporting provision of trade finance services to the wider business and reporting on this;
    • Bank administration and monitoring the availability of payment approvers; and
    • Other ad-hoc and project work, as required.

     

    Qualifications

    To be successful in this role, you are likely to have the following:

    • Excellent organisational skills;
    • Excellent attention to detail;
    • Experience working in an international company with multiple currencies;
    • Experience of working in a SOX environment; and
    • Experience of using a SAP ERP system.
