    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    Reporting to the Director, Global Supply Chain, your responsibilities will include the following:

    •Managing the supply chain portion of NPI – programs can be multi-year and span from product ideation through to new product introduction ramp
    •Interact effectively with team members in R&D (CMOS, mechanical, electronics), Product Marketing, Manufacturing Operations (process, new product introduction), Finance
    •Align with Teledyne Image procurement/Supplier Mgt teams to propose “Best Fit” suppliers
    •Drive ESI (early Supplier involvement) and take advantage of supplier expertise to assist design teams and ensure manufacturability
    •Identify and extrapolate current supplier technologies/roadmaps so Design Teams are aware
    •Identify and source new suppliers (if required)
    •Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between team members
    •Manage schedule and supply chain deliverables, and report regularly on progress
    •Apply excellent problem solving skills to anticipate (risk management) and clear issues
    •Engage with design teams – understand the applications and manage developments with customer expectations always top-of-mind
    •Balance competing demands at the product definition level (performance, cost, reliability) and at the program level (budget, schedule, risk, quality, re-use)
    •Managing multiple programs at the same time

    Specific technical expertise is not a requirement, however the development teams typically consist of highly skilled technical experts, and the end applications are typically highly technical.


    The successful candidate will have:

    •Minimum of 9-10 years of professional experience from a related industry
    •Excellent level of autonomy, creativity and a strong drive to succeed
    •Thorough, applied knowledge of project planning and execution
    •A degree/diploma in Business or Supply Chain or equivalent education/experience
    •Experience sourcing new technologies/new suppliers ahead of demand


    •Strong working knowledge and experience with the development of digital imaging products or semiconductor component products
    •Project Management experience
    •Bilingual (French/English)
    •Experience with international supply base and various global geographies
