Teledyne DALSA B.V., located in High Tech Campus Eindhoven, is one of the leading companies in the design and manufacturing of CMOS Digital Imaging Sensor. As part of its growing business and expansion, Teledyne DALSA B.V. is hiring an experienced professional in the Quality and Regulatory fields to join the team.

The QA/RA Engineer will be working with cross-functional teams to provide his/her expertise in the reliability field during the product development phase. And, to support the after-market activities to ensure high quality products are manufactured and compliant to the global regulatory requirements. 

Position Summary and Responsibilities


  • Plan, create and manage the overall Quality Assurance Planning strategy
  • Estimate failure rates and expected life times, and design of life test boards to ensure appropriate testing of the device
  • Responsible for reliability evaluation and data analysis, by utilizing problem analysis techniques to identify, rank and mitigate risks in design, manufacturing and qualification
  • Documenting and reporting the results of reliability testing for both internal and external customers
  • Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution
  • Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for continuous improvement
  • Ensure that relevant documentation exists and is regularly reviewed including equipment operation, machine maintenance, work instructions, etc.
  • Partner with Regulatory Affairs to understand and implement requirements such as RoHS, REACH, EMC, LVD, MDR, FDA, etc.
  • Assist on electrical and non-electrical components selection process to ensure reliability and compliance with international standards
  • Responsible for the quality and safety approvals of the products



  • MS or BS in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or similar degree
  • 4-6 years technical experience in mass production environment
  • Good understanding of reliability analysis and methodologies (e.g. Weibull)
  • Solid knowledge of the challenges and requirements of reliability test, electrical and thermal characterization
  • Capable of examining and determining the root cause of any test failures observed in relevant reliability test
  • Broad knowledge of medical device regulations (e.g. QSR, ISO 13485, MDSAP, etc.)
  • Ideally, an understanding of REACH, RoHS, Declaration of Conformity, CE Marking and FDA
  • Previous experience in setting up and performing various electrical/electronic tests (LV and/or HV systems) with safety testing experience in accordance with EU and International standards (e.g. ASTM, EN, IEC, CSA, UL, etc.).
