Position Summary and Responsibilities

Job Summary:

 

The incumbent will play an integral role in the management, maintenance and registration of an ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and ISO 14001 compliant quality system.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and conduct an internal audit program that monitors the effectiveness of all standard processes.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining the quality CAR/PAR process.
  • In coordination with the team, conduct Internal audits and address any findings through CAR/PAR process.
  • Manage and own the company’s quality standards for the design and manufacture of our products.
  • Conduct monthly quality meetings to review warranty returns, customer complaints, CAR/PARS and product compliance data with the team.
  • In conjunction with key stakeholders, develop and maintain a supplier evaluation program.
  • Manage the non-conformance process, including liaising with vendors, to ensure root cause analysis, error cause removal and continuous improvement.
  • Actively participate in error cause removal through the use of Process FMEA.
  • Implement and track metrics aimed at the improvement of customer satisfaction and internal quality.
  • Develop and implement quality system training as necessary.
  • Manage company’s EHS program by working together with the Health and Safety team.
  • Actively promote and participate in:
  • The adherence to Health, Safety, Environmental and HR policies by ensuring compliance with relevant procedures and legislation.
  • The pursuit and implementation of Teledyne QImaging’s values and philosophy.

Qualifications

To be successful, the candidate must be achievement oriented, solutions focused and possess strong skills in:

  • Planning,
  • analysis, decision-making and,
  • oral and written communication.

A solid understanding of the requirements of ISO systems together with a post secondary education in an engineering discipline.  At least 3 years experience in a hi-tech manufacturing environment preferably with knowledge of Lean Manufacturing. ASQ CQIA or similar certification would be an asset.
