Position Summary and Responsibilities

Teledyne e2v requires a Principle engineer to take the lead engineer role as part of a multi-function team to deliver next generation detector products and solutions for Space applications. The role is involved throughout the whole project lifecycle to ensure products meet the Customer requirements and that the appropriate equipment, processes and documentation exist for correct manufacture and verification of the products. The role provides a technical point of contact for the Customer and internal teams.


To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate the following skills:

  • Product design, development and verification expertise and providing governance through project gate reviews
  • Desire to build product expertise with a broad technical background, including relevant degree level qualification in engineering or physics
  • Experience in working directly with customers
  • Confident leading and communicating with others in a variety of situations
  • Risk management and problem solving experience
  • Definition of work package requirements and their verification
