Verification and Validation Engineer

 

Position Summary and Responsibilities

We are looking for a Verification and Validation Engineer to support the growing business and new product developments for our X-ray detectors for use in medical, dental and industrial applications.

 

Your responsibilities

Within a team of V&V engineers you will be responsible for the overall image quality and functionality assessment of the detector that you will be assigned to, with particular focus to the expectations and requirements of the intended application.

 

From start of the product development up to the Release for Supply (RFS) Milestone, the V&V Engineer is responsible within the project team for ensuring that the full overall validation and verification of the new product, related manufacturing processes and tester releases are implemented correctly, accurately and completely.

Furthermore, the V&V engineer is responsible for the completion and quality of the overall V&V reporting, for both internal and external customers.

 

As part of the R&D organization you will report to the Technical Group Manager of the V&V team.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone

  • With a University Degree (MSc) in Electronics or Physics.
  • With at least 5 years experience in evaluating complex imaging systems (including reporting of results).
  • Who is quality driven.
  • Who has hands-on mentality.
  • With good documentation practices and strong communication skills.
  • With intermediate to advanced level of English language skills.

It would be great if you

  • Have experience with evaluation activities.
  • Are familiar with X-ray systems.
  • Have knowledge about X-ray detectors.
  • Are familiar with risk management (ISO13971).
  • Are interested in reliability aspects of product development.
