Teledyne Defence & Space are seeking key individuals to join the existing teams engaged in the production of advanced electronics systems and integrated end to end RF & microwave solutions for the defence, space and security markets.

Position Summary and Responsibilities

  • Checking existing documentation held in relation to each product within the quality system
  • Identifying and collating documentation relating to each product, including serial number, part number and defect type
  • Uploading documentation into relevant locations within the quality system
  • Liaising with departments across the business to obtain relevant documentation from suppliers / internally if required
  • Providing quality team with product documentation as necessary
  • Co-ordinate and update Quality logs and documentation
  • Support the Quality team in collecting KPI data
  • Escalate to Quality Engineer issues that cannot be resolved.
  • Maintain quality documentation in accordance with ISO9001 rules.

Qualifications

  • Excellent command of Microsoft office suite, including word, outlook, adobe and excel
  • Able to demonstrate organisational skills, with a methodical and logical approach
  • Strong communication skills, ability to liaise effectively with other departments
  • Behavioural skills, you will have a 'can do' attitude' with the willingness to go above and beyond
  • This role requires high attention to detail & would suit someone who sees themselves as methodical, well organised and able to work to strict operating timelines.
  • In addition you will have administration skills, be a good team player and understand the need for providing data accurately and to deadlines
  • Previous administration experience is essential
  • Previous experience of working in a quality function is desirable but not essential
