Teledyne DALSA Semiconductor is currently expanding its MEMS foundry services and is looking for a talented and dynamic engineer or scientist to fill the position of Key account manager.


The Key Account Manager is responsible for the Sales of Teledyne DALSA Semiconductor Foundry products and services. He is also responsible to increase the business level of Teledyne DALSA Semiconductor by proactively identifying strategic customers in chosen markets. He also supports the customer care center, when required, dealing with logistical issues (Purchase order processing, order scheduling, etc.). The candidate will be located at the Teledyne DALSA Semiconductor facility in Bromont, Québec, but should expect to travel on a regular basis to visit customers.

Position Summary and Responsibilities

Main Job Duties and responsibilities:


In order to perform his job, the Key Account Manager will execute the following activities:


  • Respond to customer inquiries for Teledyne DALSA Semiconductor Foundry products and services;
  • Prepare, negotiate of Business related documents like Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), financial analysis, Quotes, Supply Agreements;
  • Through market studies, website search, or any other source of information, the Sales Manager will identify, contact and visit new potential customers in order to support profitability and Sales growth objectives;
  • Be the contact person for the customer for technical and business issues related to products in production. Will answer any question or request from the customer. Will notify the customer of any issues related to the manufacturing of his products;
  • Communicate on a regular basis with existing customers in order to identify and respond to any issues and identify new opportunities. Organize and lead teleconference calls and customer visits;
  • Support the editorial content for Marketing documents; Flyers, website, articles and presentation to promote Teledyne DALSA Semiconductor capabilities;
  • Identify and participate to Trade Shows;
  • Provides Sales forecast for customers under his responsibility Support the Customer Care Agent with any logistic issues related to Purchase order processing;
  • Travel and visit current and new customers on a regular basis.


Education/ Skills requirements:

  • Analytical, commercially astute with a proven track record of achieving sales growth;
  • A proven sales experience of creating opportunities, qualifying sales and applying sales methodologies that lead to working with senior decision-makers;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
  • Ability to resolve complex issues in creative and timely ways;
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related technical field;
  • Degree in Business Management or MBA would be preferred;
  • Experience in MEMS Foundry products sale would be preferred;
  • Good spoken and written English and French is required.
