Teledyne Lincoln Microwave are looking for a key individual to join our Manufacturing Team based at Firth Road in Lincoln. This is a hands-on role in which the successful candidate will work closely with our Manufacturing Manager to build, tune, test and deliver highly technical product for niche microwave applications.

All of our manufacturing Technicians and Operators are expected to have a strong team ethic and a great respect for attention to detail.

Position Summary and Responsibilities

  • Accurately maintain production data, records, assessments and manufacturing paperwork.
  • Proactively help to manage and promote safe working in compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental regulation, procedures and other company requirements
  • Work to meet or exceed weekly, monthly and quarterly production output targets as agreed with the Manufacturing Manager
  • Manage day-to-day tasks to produce assemblies and products in line with agreed delivery dates.
  • Oversee site equipment inventory and manage both internal stakeholders and third party calibration providers to ensure full compliance to quality procedures.
  • Complete investigation and repair work for customer returns within agreed timescales.


Must be able to demonstrate;

  • Great communication skills and an ability to learn on the job and adapt
  • High level of dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret technical data
  • Confidence in managing own workload and time efficiently
  • Proficient in standard Microsoft Office applications
  • Accurately managing own material inventory
  • A strong team ethic
  • Confidence in building using hand tools and ESD sensitive material
  • Soldering on to PCBs and assemblies (under a microscope)
  • Availiabity to work extra hours as required to meet customer demand 


  • Educated to ONC/HNC level in a related subject area e.g. Electronics
  • Experienced using SAP in a production enviroment
