    Teledyne has a defined strategy to achieve growth both organically and through acquisition.  In this environment the role of the Group Financial Planning & Analysis team becomes increasingly critical in ensuring the provision of high quality financial information.  The purpose of this role is to provide a dedicated, centralist specialist resource within the Group Financial Planning & Analysis team to support the financial management of the Teledyne e2v central functions and divisions.

    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    To act as the financial business partner to the central functions, being seen as the first point of contact for the head of function.

     

    To act of as the financial business partner to the Professional Imaging and Semiconductors functions in UK, Asia and USA.

     

    Provide full financial support for any financial/commercial decision relating to the IT, HR, Finance, Commercial functions including investment appraisal.

     

    To administer the BPC FTE reporting tool.

     

     

    To support the Senior Financial Analyst (FPA) and Finance Analyst – Forecasting with the planning, strategy and forecasting processes.

     

    To support the Financial Analyst - Planning with submission of data into the Teledyne corporate consolidation system.

     

    To support the Group Reporting team with submission of actual data into the Teledyne corporate consolidation system.

     

    Ensure the business operates within the financial controls and procedures, including SOX 404 as set by the Group.

     

    Drive continuous improvement within area and manage/deliver financial projects as required.

     

    Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders across all levels and functions of e2v including the Finance team.

    Qualifications

    • Qualified Accountant with knowledge of Finance processes and procedures
    • Experience of working in a manufacturing and international environment would be advantageous
    • Experience of an ERP system – preferably SAP
    • Excellent excel skills and data analysis
    • Excellent communication and team working skills
    • Strong team player and flexible approach
