    Position Summary and Responsibilities

    Job purpose: To assist in the fulfilment of sales orders across the company, both new build and returns.

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • To produce (Using soldering/techniques) and test (Using specialist test equipement) specialised electronic products (PCB's/small box manufacture) as well as being involved in cable assemblies and harnesses
    • Work with production engineers and lead other operators to ensure production units are built on time and in line with customer orders, to ensure production plans are met
    • Work with the production engineering team to assist in creating and developing build procedures for new products, while ensuring processes for legacy products are kept up to date
    • Assist in the disposition and re-work of RMA product
    • Help the leadership team to maintain site targets such as OTD (Delivery) and  Cost of Rejects (Quality outputs)
    • Adhere to site disciplines and standards with respect to traceability, documentation and cleanliness


    • Experience of using testing equipment and process for electronic products - ideally using equiment such as Oscilliscopes, Multi Meters, Automated Test Equipment.
    • Good initiative and problem solving skills
    • Have an extensive knowledge of production processes in relation to PCB Electronics, Cable harnessing
    • Be qualified to the companies industry standards to include at least IPC-610 and ideally IPC-620.  However for the right candidate, training will be provided.
    • Be able to read Engineering drawings and produce product in accordance with them
    • Be able to communicate well with members of staff across all departments
